4th District American Legion Oratorical Constitutional Speech Contest -
For the first time the District Level is being held at Brushton Moira Central School. The contest will be held on Saturday, January 11th at Noon in Brushton Moira’s Auditorium. Two contestants will then move on to the Zone Level which is held in February in Lake George.
This contest allows students in grades 9-12 to be sponsored by an American Legion Post and present speeches about the Constitution. The contest will last roughly one and half to two hours.
We have two students from BMC who have advanced to this level and are sponsored by our local legion post #939. Please consider coming out to BMC to check out this event.

BMC staff and students are invited to wear pajamas tomorrow, December 19th for Pajama Day!. Please make sure that they are school appropriate.
Fitness Center - The Fitness Center will be closed until Thursday, January 2, 2025. Hours will resume then from 3-4 p.m. for students and 5-7 p.m. for the community.

All afterschool activities today, Monday 12/9 are canceled. All games with Madrid-Waddington have been postponed. There will be no practices or any other events after school.

The Class of 2026 is hosting a kids night out this Friday. A movie, crafts and gym activities. Snacks, drinks, and pizza are available for purchase. Doors open at 5 pm. Pickup between 7:45-8 pm in the cafeteria. Admission is $5.00 per student. Thank you for supporting the Class of 2026.
PK-12 Parent/Teacher Conferences are Thursday, November 21, 2024. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. We will have a normal schedule on Friday, November 22, 2024.
