ABOUT OUR DISTRICT

The Brushton-Moira Central School District is located in northern Franklin County. The community offers a friendly, small-town environment in a picturesque setting that is basically rural in nature. The majestic Adirondack Mountains to the south delight the citizens of our community as well as many visitors from all over the world. Local facilities such as the Highland Greens Golf Course and the Titus Mountain Ski Area provide year-round relaxation along with the many beautiful streams, lakes, and campgrounds. Our Canadian neighbors to the north, Ottawa and Montreal are within one and one-half hour's driving time away.

Located in the Village of Brushton and the Town of Moira and including portions of six surrounding towns, the Brushton-Moira Central School District offers a variety of instructional and co-curricular programs. The district provides educational programs to approximately 750 students from pre-kindergarten through grade twelve.

The Brushton-Moira Central School District is a component member of the Franklin-Essex-Hamilton Board of Cooperate Educational Services. The district receives a variety of specialized shared services from the BOCES including performing arts, distance learning, special education, Career Technical Education as well as our New Visions Program in Health Careers, Law/Government, and Education.
